Sun Care Review Skincare SPF
After seeing information about LRP's new 400UV filter, I was very excited to try this sunscreen. I enjoy LRP products in general and want something with tested high UVA protection — but their chemical sunscreens sting my eyes, and their tinted mineral sunscreens are too deep a shade for me.
I ordered this from an EU beauty retailer in early April. The 50mL product was ~$20 USD. Today is my first day wearing it.
**First impressions:** It is a thin, watery formula. I applied 1/4 tsp to my face and neck, placing it over my eyelids as well. No stinging. It dries down invisible and weightless — I don't feel it on my skin at all. I've been wearing it for a few hours of indoor work with no transfer to my eyes.
I'll be wearing it outdoors this weekend, which should really put it to the test.
**Edit:** I wore this on a 10-hour bike ride (UV index 11+) in the heat while sweating heavily. I reapplied every 1.5–2 hours and my face didn't burn — it didn't even pink up. I'm extremely impressed. I ordered the cream version and will do a comparison post when it arrives.
